Introduction to faux rock making

Faux landscape stones (fake rocks, to us more common folk) can sometimes be better than the real thing. And, in case you thought making fake rocks and boulders was difficult, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised to find out that it's really pretty easy to make them yourself.

In this article, I'll attempt to walk you through the steps I took to make some faux rocks for my flowerbed. First of all, to begin, let me explain that I'm no expert with years of commercial rock-building experience, but I have built a few and it's actually pretty fun to do and not really hard, at all. Basically, making faux stones and landscape boulders is something almost anyone can do - just some fundamental creativity is all that's needed.
