Garden Planters A large selection of planters, pots and urns are available from which to choose. They typically come in either round planters or rectangular planters. | Depending on the space you're trying to fill, you may choose to buy a round planter. Round planters fit nicely in the corner of your patio and can be filled with either live or artificial plants. Rectangular planters can be long and slender or more square in shape. Garden planters come in a number of different materials including cast stone, plastic, fiberglass, and various composite materials. Obviously, depending on what they're made of, they could way as little as a few pounds, all the way up over 100 pounds. If you're planting a tall tree, shrub or other ornamental plant, you might want to get a little heavier planter. That way, if the wind kicks up, your plant or tree will not blow over as easily. |
Of course, you're not limited to just a boring square, rectangular or round garden planter. Just as with anything else, the sky is the limit on design. Did you ever think you could say that special something with an outdoor garden planter? Not only can you use your garden planter to maintain a plant, but you could even use your planter to hold a gazing ball. This has the advantage of letting you enjoy your gazing ball, but also protect it from getting run over in the yard or the middle of a flower bed. |
