Garden Decorations and Accents

You can use stepping stones to line a garden path in your backyard.  Or, use stepping stones in places in your flowerbed where you have no intention of stepping, but instead want to fill that blank space on the ground with something interesting or elegant.

You may also want to consider adding a sundial as decorative accent along with a gazing ball in your flowerbed and possibly an ornamental wall plaque or two.

To add a little acoustic ambience, try adding a wind chime to your outdoor decor.

Why not provide a little cooling off spot for our friends in the air?  Birds enjoy bird baths for both bathing as well as drinking purposes.  Bird baths are especially welcomed by our feathered friends during those dry, dog-days of summer.  Make sure the wild birds in your area have a safe and healthy place to refresh themselves.

If you're going to provide birds with a nice place to bathe, you might as well splurge and put them up for the night and feed them, too.

Bird feeders can be filled with an assortment of different kinds of bird seed.  There should be something to satisfy their avian palates.  Make sure you place bird feeders where only birds can get to them.  Other pests, such as squirrels will make quick time with any free food hand-outs you make.
